Con Season!!!

Well the con season here in Aus is well and truely underway!!
had my first con for the year yesterday and pretty much ate nothing all day except a handful of chips and lollies..i was actually 700 cals under what I was meant to be! oops :S
Getting food is made all the harder by the fact that I work the the cons and so spend the whole day running around doing promotion sigh...why do we con goers put our bodies through all that stress :P
Not really a question here I'm just excited to be back on the scene!!!
How does the con season work in the USA? ours sorta started this month (a few small ones in march) and goes through to october with the biggest being july/august

There are cons throughout the year. For me it depends how far it is and how much I am willing to spend.
