Okay, so I got this cool Recipe book from Barnes and Noble called "Quick & Easy Recipes - with just 4 ingredients". This is the perfect book for me because literally all the meals and snacks to cook in here only take FOUR ingredients. I'm totally cheap and I dont want to search the store for fifty different items to make one meal. Plus the more crap to put in it, the bigger the mess and there for the more work there is to prepare something. Anywho, I thought I would share some of these with you guys to get things started on this board a little bit. As always feel free to post your own Recipes, but I do ask you to limit them to one a day per person, not as a whole0

Granola Bars
(Prep + Cook Time = 35min )
(Servings = 30 bars)

* Ingredients
1 Stick of Butter, Coarsely Chopped
1/2 Cup of firmly Packed Brown Sugar
4 Cups of Natural Muesli
1/2 Cup of self-rising flour
Note: Muesli is a combination of rolled oats and dried fruit. | For maximum flavor and a more crunchy bar use a muesli that contains nuts, dried fruit and coconut

1.) Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Coat a 9 x 3 inch baking pan with cooking spray; line base and long sides with parchment paper, extending paper 2 inches over the sides.
2.) Heat butter and sugar in a medium saucepan; stir until sugar is dissolved. Then Stir in muesli and flour.
3.) Press mixture firmly into pan; bake for about 20 minutes. Let it cool in the pan before cutting.
I haven't tried this one but SHOOT, for 30 bars, I could be saving a lot of money making them like this rather than buying them by the box.0 -
Baked Potatoes with Salmon and Peas
(Prep + Cook Time 1hr and 20 Min)
Serves 4

* Ingredients
4 Large Russet Potatoes
1/2 Cup of Frozen Peas
1/2 Cup of Sour Cream
1/4 Pound of Smoked Salmon (chopped coarsely)

1.) Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
2.) Pierce Potato skins with fork; wrap each potato in foil and place on an oven tray. Bake for about 1 hour or until they are tender.
3.) Meanwhile, boil peas until they are tender
4.) When potatoes are tender remove them from the oven and pull back foil only revealing the top of your potato. then increase the temperature to 475 Degrees.
5.) Cut 1/2 inch from the top of each potato; discard. Carefully scoop out the flesh from the potatoes, leaving the skin intact. combine the potato flesh with sour cream in a medium bowl; mash potato mixture until it is almost smooth.
6.) Stir in the peas and salmon
7.) Divide the potato mixture among all the potatoes and bake for 10 more minutes or until lightly browned.
