On Monday I did the Iron strength workout, but somehow missed the warmup, so my legs were sore, but not too bad. I ran 5k very slow yesterday because of that and now I can barely move - my legs are very sore.
I signed up for my first 5k race on April 27. Will the pain go away until then? Should I run through the pain or should I take next couple days off to rest? How should I train for my race with sore legs?

Is it pain or aching ?
If pain I'd hold off the exercise and if it's purely aching give it a couple of days break and then have a short run just to try it out. You've got plenty of time until your next race so don't rush yourself.
As far as training goes I'm sure that the 'pain' would of gone or be down to an ache in a week or so and then train but don't just throw yourself back in with a long run, build yourself up first.
Just my opinion, no science or anything to it.0 -
