Circuit training
Squats, push ups, lunges and sit ups

This week with GoingAllTheWay4MeDee’s blessings our week 4 challenge will be circuit training. Circuit training is the most time efficient way to enhance cardiovascular fitness and muscle endurance

Do in this order, as many as you can of one exercise in one minute then switch to the next exercise in the above order for another minute and do this until you’ve done each exercise eg. 1 minute squats, 1 minute, pushups, 1 minute lunges then 1 minute of sit ups – do this five times or you can vary the number of circuits to your preference.

If you don’t want to time yourself choose a number that you’d like to do (20, 30 etc.) and cycle through that eg. 20 squats, 20 push ups, 20 lunges, 20 sit ups and do this for as many circuits as you’d like.

Lunges: http://exercise.lovetoknow.com/How_to_Do_Lunges
Sit ups: http://life.gaiam.com/article/how-perform-perfect-sit

Please check in as often as you’d like - update us with how many circuits you’ve done and if you are feeling/seeing the benefits.  How many of each exercises were you able to do in each minute and were you able to increase your numbers as the week went by?

Okay, let’s get this!!!

Just read this challenge...I'm in...not sure if I will do the timed or the number first. Probably timed to see where I am since my upper body strength is horrible the pushups will be the lacking element at first! But I am in and ready to do this! Will post the results once I start!

Decided to time my first set to get how many I can do in each minute:
    Squats - 30
Push ups - 30 (on knees)
    Lunges - 30
    Sit ups - 30

Now that I know how many I can do I will just do these straight without having to keep timing

How's everyone going? Have you been able to up the amounts of each exercise you've done? I haven't been able to do more than my first day but I'm hoping to be able to by the end of the week:smile:
