Gluten Free Lawton, OK ??? Planning a trip

It's no secret that it can sometimes take some effort to find restaurants that offer GF menus, so I've started a month in advance. My husband is GF and we are planning a trip to Wichita Mountains State Park in Oklahoma next month. I've looked for GF restaurants in Lawton (closest 'big' city) on Yelp, Urban Spoon, Find Me Gluten Free, and Gluten Free Registry, but I've only been able to find chain restaurants like Chick-Fil-A and Chili's. We were hoping to try something more local--not chains. We generally eat at restaurants where we can order dishes without sauces or seasonings and which offer fresh steamed vegetables, and I'm having a hard time finding such restaurants in or around Lawton. Three that I found sound like possibilities, but it's hard to tell from the information on the web, so I'm wondering if anyone here has knowledge of these places, or any suggestions for restaurants in the Lawton, OK area.

I found:
The Silver Spoon
Lone Star Steakhouse
Meers Store and Restaurant (says they offer grass fed beef, but doesn't seem to be the kind of place that tolerates special orders)

If you know about these restaurants or have other suggestions I'd love to hear it! Traveling is always so stressful for my husband and the whole point of this trip is to relax! Your help is very much appreciated!

Given that your list is only three long, I would just call and ask.

Thanks. That's always an option, but I prefer to get first hand knowledge from people who've actually been there when I can. None of the reviews online address the GF items, so I guess we'll just figure it out when we get there--or I'll be cooking in the hotel room! ;)

Don't forget about all the naturally gluten free items out there, you can go to almost any restuarant and get salad, grilled chicken breast, steak, seafood....just stay away from the sauces/breaded items.
