Hi All,
Just wanted to give a quick intro as I'm new to the group! I have been diagnoised as PCOS for about a year, but it has probably been going on for 10+ years, I was just in denial and hate doctors!
I'm newly 28 years old, with a lot of weight to lose, but it is going well.
I'm glad to find this group and learn from other people who are going through similar struggles as myself!

Welcome to the group! It has been a great group and being newly diagnosed about 3 months ago great having the support with both weightloss and the emotional issues that come along with PCOS. I have been trying to conceive for about 11 months now and having these women has been a big help. Many of my friends on MFP are PCOSers themselves and it's great since we all have similar nutritional needs which are different than other peoples.
Good luck with your journey and I'll add you as a friend!0 -
Hi New to group but not PCOS. I was diagnosed in 1995. It can be frustrating to say the least and what I hate the most is dealing with excessive hair growth. Like many of you, weightloss has never been easy and don't even get me started on my menstration cycle- When I was first diagnosed, I had my period for 9 months straight... Fun times. I don't know anyone besides my sister with PCOS, and I do often feel very alone in dealing with this.0
