Earlier this winter, I didn't notice a step down when I was leaving a store and fell, badly injuring one shoulder and both knees. My orthopedist believes that I will need knee surgery but he has referred me to a neurologist for my shoulder. My appointment with the neurologist is not for another month. Because I also have severe arthritis, not keeping my abs strong has made my back pain unbearable. I work six days each week and so I need to find a way to sleep against this fairly chronic pain better. In the past, exercise has kept my pain level under better control. I know that I cannot take yoga classes anymore and I recently hurt my injured shoulder working with a really good Pilates instructor. Does anyone know of a way to quiet screaming joint pain? I recently reset my weight tracker because I had gained back all of the weight that I had lost in the months after my fall when I had very few days when I felt like I could move at all. Any exercise or supplement ideas?
