Detox during pregnancy

Hi ladies, how are you all doing?
I've had a rough week, meetings non stop and with clients the whole week, every meal has been at a restaurant. So my eating has been terrible, I've gained about 3lb more than I should have.
So I want to go on a detox... not a weight loss detox, just a clean eating to get back on track detox. Do any of you have tips or tricks? I'm going to stock up on fruits etc, but don't want too much sugar either.
Thanks momma's!

Hey mate, I feel your pain! I was like this last week and ive just had some chocolate for breakfast, not a great start!
I would suggest a lot of water, I personally like boiled water as it cleans me out (if you know what I mean)!
Try to stay away from processed foods and eat as clean as you can. Eat lots of detoxing foods such as lemons, limes, oranges tangerines, apples, blueberries, cranberries, strawberries, melon and grapes as they are good for detoxing and are super healthy. You can probably buy a lot of them frozen, works out cheaper than buying them fresh and they last longer! You can make smoothies!
Try and make yourself filling clean meals so your not tempted to snack in between meals, obviously if you are hungry though then make yourself something like a smoothie, have a yoghurt or a warm water.
You probably already know all of the above but didnt want to read and run! Hope your well x0 -

That's pretty solid advice. I also use Apple Cider Vinegar for tummy issues and find it helps with water retention a LOT. The body is pretty efficient at self cleansing and eating clean will speed up that process. Besides, eating clean is just a good idea in general.
I hope you feel back to yourself soon!0
