I went on a Confirmation retreat today with a candidate that I am sponsoring at our parish. It was so awesome. There were 7 speakers who each gave a talk and did an activity with the kids on each of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. The kids were great and I think we ALL got something out of it. I certainly learned a thing or two! Gives me good hope and confidence that these young people are being equipped to live out their faith in the world! Praise God!

    Isn't it wonderful watching the next generation learn and grow in their faith? My grand-niece received first Holy Communion on Saturday. I'm always overwhelmed when I consider the Communion line that began at the Last Supper and will continue to the end of time. We are so blessed to have the sacraments.
