    So timely, thanks for sharing.

On Monday night, after completing my final fundamentals course, I went to put the 35 pound bar back on the wall and experienced stabbing pain mid-back. I had previously suffered a multi-disc herniation so didn't waste any time getting into physio. Fortunately it is just a sprain and not a herniation this time.

I was pleased to hear my physio say that CrossFit didn't cause this- it was a multitude of factors including my post-partum state of suboptimal fitness and core weakness that caused this, and it just happened to culminate after doing some weight training.

More often than not, I think that injuries that occur at the gym are a culmination of a number of factors rather than acutely related to the specific exercise performed.
