Fair Isle

I hate it! I made a fair isle blanket, and that was fine. Now I decided to make a sweater and I just can't seem to get it. My gauge is correct. The first time, it was so tight, I couldn't even get it over my head. The second attempt, I made the stitches super loose, but it was still too tight, and all the stitches just looked sloppy and gross.
