Attention cysters with a normal BMI

So as we all know, a lot of the 'solutions' for PCOS seems to be relevant to those who are overweight. Basically, hormone imbalances seem to sort themselves out, once a sufferer is within a healthy BMI.
But there are some, like me, who have always been within a healthy BMI, but still seem to struggle with it.
I am 5"5 and about 120 pounds. I have an extremely petite build, so I used to be about 110 pounds, and still did not look underweight. However, my body clearly fought against me and was unhappy at this weight, so I now sit between 115-120 pounds. (115 being when i pay strict attention to diet etc)
I have had very few periods in my lifetime, with a few of them being from BC or progesterone. I was very underweight as a child/teenager, and only became within a normal BMI at the age of 19. I used to get terrible acne, which is now at a mild level. I also used to get such terrible sugar cravings, that I just wanted to cry, and would often turn to binge eating as a result. And thus, my weight was constantly fluctuating 15 pounds, depending on my self control.
I know it's early days, but for the second month in a row, I have gotten a natural period. I don't think I have EVER gotten any consecutively in my life, letalone after having none at all for 20 months.
WHAT I DID DIFFERENTLY:
I went on Levlen (BC) for 3 months between December - February. I got 2 periods from this, including the withdrawal bleed from when I quit at the end of March.
Exactly 1 month after stopping, I got a period. So weird. And today, another month later, I got another one.
Over the past few months I eliminated about 80% of Gluten from my diet, in addition to eating more overall. I was sick of eating 1200-1300 calories and feeling like I was starving to death. I now eat 1400-1500 on rest/pole dancing days, and about 1600 cals on lifting days.
Also, I cut WAY back on cardio, and added in 3 days of proper, heavy lifting. So rather than doing 4 days cardio, 2 days lifting a week, I now do:
Monday: Pole dancing
Tuesday: Legs day
Thursday: Pole dancing
Friday: Back & Biceps
Sunday: Arms & HIIT
So as you can tell, I am eating more overall, and doing a lot less cardio.
My final change, was that I started taking Iodine supplements, and hormone function multivitamins (consists of iodine, zinc, chromium, magnesium, some other stuff). Because on my last blood test, my Thyroid was bordering on underactive.
I am not sure which of these elements, if not all have changed things, but I have almost no sugar cravings now, seem to be getting periods, and feel better overall. I am going to get an ultrasound in a few months time, to see if I still have multiple follicles on my ovaries.
I hope this helps some ladies. Please feel free to message me if you have any questions, and i will try and help =]
