Thursday 5/9 committment

So what is going on today? I have not been able to get a serious hike nor bike ride in this week, so Thursday, someone has to kick my butt and get me going! WE have been doing great so far gang, lets keep the attitudes up.

    Away until monday- will try to run daily and watch what I am eating as it will all be restaurant food. Will not be able to weigh in on sunday- will post it on tuesday.

    I was able to get on the elliptical before work. Still staining the boathouse after work today. I know, I lead an exciting life, lol!!!

    I'm struggling with my food diary.....I've got to get more disciplined. That's my commitment today!

    Three days to weigh in for week 3!
    Managed to stroll around for an hour yesterday without pain. I will try something similar today. Other than that I will stay on my meal plan and drink plenty of water.

    My commitment for today is starting 30 Day Shred! I am so excited to start this!!!! My new plan is to jog every second day, and do 30DS on the days in between... with Sunday being a rest day. Added to the start of 30DS tonight, I am going for a walk with a friend after work tonight. :) Lets have a kick-*kitten* Thursday everyone!!!

    -Walk 10,000 steps
    -Stay within my calorie budget
    -Walk 1 mile at work


    *Still not feeling well, but today I'm going to try to step it up because I don't think the scale will show anything--maybe a gain :(

    I'll go L1 Day 9 of 30 DS tonight. I'm still trying to decide if I will run tonight or not. I've ran 5 days in a row so far, and tomorrow is supposed to be my rest day from running, but at the moment the thought of running tonight is not exciting me at all. Maybe by the time I'm able to work out (almost 12 hours from now) I'll feel differently. Just feeling very tired today. . .
  • So yesterday I made my challenge, almost... My challenge was to walk around the pond here at work 4x, twice in the morning and twice in the afternoon. That would give me 2.5 miles of walking during the day. I was able to do the morning no problem, I then did the afternoon and a storm was coming in. Between the clouds, rain and lightening I decided 1 lap was in order to avoid getting struck by lightening lol.

    Also, I parked my truck in the furthest spot possible. I tracked it via GPS... From the truck to my office, .25 miles! So that means, To my office and back (lunch), then to my office and back... That is 1 mile!! Woot Woot!

    So if I walk on my breaks AND park furthest away, that is 3.5 miles walked in one day while just at work! Go Me!!

    So today my commitment is doing my 4 laps at work around the pond, park far (I did) and do a 3 mile jog, plus Ab Ripper X.

    Today I did Day 7 on my 30DS level 1 and 15 minutes cardio workout. Also, I went for a jog in the park for 1 hour. I wasn't feeling well today but I still pushed myself because the weigh in on sunday is getting closer. :happy:

    My goal today is to rest & recover (from a boyfriend drama last night) & get a lot of sleep. Seem to be somewhat back on track with regard to monitoring what I eat (thanks to you all doing the same & inspiring me!)

    I will walk 2 miles tonight with the dogs.

    Well mega-fail yesterday.... had to cancel my walk and my 30DS start.... had to go to outpatients to see a doctor regarding a female issue....All is well though and I am starting jogging with a friend tonight, we are signed up for Run or Dye together.... and when I get home, 30DS starts tonight!!!!!!!!!!
