On Mother’s Day weekend, honor moms everywhere by supporting a cause that helps women and their families suffering from postpartum depression in the Lowcountry and beyond.
Postpartum Support Charleston, formerly known as the Ruth Rhoden Craven Foundation, is hosting the 10th annual 5K Moms’ Run at 8 a.m. at Blackbaud Stadium on Daniel Island.
A Family Fun Day will immediately follow the run. Participants can enjoy music, free food and plenty of children’s activities, including a jump castle, putt-putt golf, face painting, crafts and games.
Family Fun Day lasts until noon and is free to registered race participants and a suggested $10 donation per family for non-race participants.
