    I'm not really sure why there's an increase from last week - possibly 30 Day Shred is increasing muscle mass. In any case - I went through my closet this weekend and got rid of a few things that were TOO BIG, and was able to comfortably fit into a size 10 pants that I've never worn! So I know I'm making progress!

    Dr appoint on 5/9 went well. Pleased with weight loss and offically on 5/9 had lost 7 lbs. My scale is only 0.4 lbs off from the doctor's to my relief!!! So, now showing 190.0 lbs on my scale which is 190.4 lbs on his and officially now 8 lbs lost!!

    Wooohooo! finally lost some poundage! I am down 2lbs for a weigh in of 207. Only one article of clothing seems too big.......my bra. Guess thats where you lose first though, LOL!

    Wow....once again, I have not taken my measurements, but did get on the scale. After ALL that moving, I only lost .6 lbs!! OMG!!!

    Busy with finals, so working out hasn't been a priority. I was going to do measurements yesterday but the house was super cold (and so was the tape measure) so I got redressed. lol... I hadn't been toning or anything so I figured it probably wasn't a big change measurement wise anyways.

    Hi Everyone,
    Great job to you all for achieving some significant weight-loss. Congrats!

    I've been struggling to stay on track but have lost net 2 pounds over the past 3 weeks of our challenge.

    For the four weigh-ins thus far (at 5 feet 9 1/2 inches):


    Week One - 4/21/2013 - 186
    Week Two - 4/28/2013 - 182
    Week Three - 5/5/2013 - 183.8

    Today's health/ weight loss goals:
    1) Catch up on sleep! Got 2 nights of good sleep back to back, after 5 days averaging 4.5 hours per night (which is not enough, as I need 7 hours to function normally).

    2) Walk dogs 2 miles - Yes.

    3) Leave work by 7:30pm tonight. (TBD - but have set an alarm clock to prompt me to get out the door).

    I was down 1lb this week but ive been away the last few days and while i really tried to make good food choices im not sure how well it worked. Im going to have to make serious changes for the rest of the week if i want to continue to loose.

    Slow to post here, but I did weigh in on Sunday. Down another 1.9 pounds this week for a total of 8.9 since starting this challenge. Congrats to everyone for doing so well!

    The scale finally moved for me since I have been riding my bike to work!

    Week 1: 155
    Week 4: 153

    Only 2 pounds lost so far, not a lot but I'm just happy the scale is finally moving!! Lets hope it keeps moving!!

    Weight: 209 lbs
    BF%: 42.4
    Fat Mass: 89 lb
    Fat Free Mass: 120.8 lb
    Total Body Water: 88.4 lbs

    slight loss of water weight and body fat weight.
    Here are my stats from 05/07/13
    Age: 44
    Height 5'7"
    Weight: 212.6 lbs
    BF%: 41.9
    Fat Mass: 89.01lb (down 6lbs from 3 weeks ago)
    Fat Free Mass: 123.6lbs (up 4lbs from 3 weeks ago)
    Total Body Water: 90.4lbs (up 3lbs from 3 weeks ago)

    In summary - the scale weight doesn't tell the whole story.
    I've added water weight (you can't burn fat if you're dehydrated), I added muscle (because I lift heavy weights) and I reduced my body fat mass and %.
    This is why you can see changes in your body even if the scale doesn't seem like it's moving.
    I'm happy! I'll take measurements next time.
