that I don't regret leaving you
I am glad that it is over
though I know it didn't need to end that way
you know I truly loved you
and no matter what you say...
I gave it everything I had
and it never was enough
try as I might I couldn't get your respect
so how could I ever expect your love?

I worked so hard to be worthy in your eyes
