Wasn't sure where to put this, but thought everyone in the UK should know about this. Please read this story, it's amazing. It's an amazing cure for burns that is a one off treatment that the NHS are reluctant to pay for. It's roughly about £5000, and is a one off payment. Skin grafts costs more in the long run and leaves scars. The issue the NHS has is paying that much money in one go, but it is totally worth it. It's one treatment, leaving no scars, so no constant trips to the hospital. This is totally worth it.

A lot of the NHS is working on a false economy. My sister needed skin graft to her knee after an accident but they had so many failed attempts and wasted harvested skin, (leaving more scars) I wouldn't think it would have been cheaper than the £5k you mentioned and that was on a relatively small area (initially anyway, her legs looked like a patchwork quilt by the time it was finished)

I just heard about this and wanted to pass it on. On a search it says it can be used for acne scarring too. Amazing treatment. The pics of the boy on the link are amazing
