So, I joined www.wannado.com a website that not only helps track your bucket list, it helps you complete it. I added that I wanted to run a 5k marathon and the site found upcoming marathons in my area. I live in West Baltimore, Maryland and they found a race shceduled for September 28th 2013 in College Park, MD. I will be regestering for the race and spend the next 4 months training for it.

That's awesome of you to venture out into running! I don't think I'm quite ready to handle a marathon yet? but hopefully by next year I can! I start training next week for my 2nd half marathon in September. If you'd like to meet up for some training runs over the summer let me know. I can come down to the city for an early Saturday run.0

I am actually getting a group together to walk the Color In Motion 5K which is going to be in DC in September. I want to paractice by walking around Druid Hill lake everyday after work. Once around the lake is 1.5 miles. Twice is 3 miles, so my goal is to walk 3 miles a day to strengthen my legs.
I usually get off of work around 4:30pm and get to the lake at around 6pm. Inbox me if you would like to meet up for a walk. :-)0 -
Sadly, I did not reach my goal of making it to the color run last year. However, I have a new goal this year to do the 5K Foam Fest in DC on July 12th. Who is in?0
