Yes nerdfitness:):)
I was trying to figure out a way to simplify the site...
What if we gain a level by achieving a point in every stat?
We could set goals that suit each character trait in our lives.. for example, if we deep condition our hair, we can assign a point to Charisma. If we finish a book, (depending on the book), we can assign a point to WIS or INT. When you have say, three points in each stat, you excel a level. Of course, you can end up with many more stats in certain corners of your life than others, but it might help promote a more balanced life style.
For example;
If your stats are:
CHA - 2
CON - 2
DEX -3
INT - 3
ING - 4
STR - 4
WIS - 4
Then you would be classed as level 2 - if you then achieved a point in CHA and CON, you would be level three and so on. Does that make sense?
Stat descriptions..
Charisma (attractiveness, magnetism i.e. physical attributes)
Constitution (resistance, physique i.e. character building)
Dexterity (agility, speed i.e. gymnastic abilities)
Intelligence (reasoning, learning abilities i.e. herbal research)
Strength (stamina, endurance i.e. combat training)
Wisdom (fortitude, enlightenment i.e. survival skills)
aaand I'm adding one more (forgive me, D&D dungeon masters),
INGENUITY!!! (creative talents i.e. song writing, tree carving)
So for me (some have more goals than others:D )
CHA - Tend to nails (both my own and Fables), Use bedtime charms every night until routine
CON - Improve posture, Resist twitching
DEX - Practice Yoga 3x per week, Create a habit of stretching upon waking and before sleeping
INT - Finish YOUR GOD DAMN MOTHER ****IN PAPER, Brush up on excavation skills / article briefings
STR - Complete the 30 day shred, Strength training with weights 2x per week
WIS - Learn how to tie five different knots.
ING - Finish the Day of the Dead, and the Ballard of Brienne the Beauty aka the Maid of Tarth
What do you think? We could also have bonuses for boosting levels - like completing challenges like the 10,000 calorie goal, or reaching a weight goal (I'm doing mine in increments of five -- when I reach 140 it will be a level up, 135, 130, etc)0
