Confused about calories

I'm 23, female, 5'10.5, and 231 pounds. I exercise for about 60 minutes/4-3 days per week.
MFP set my calories at 1540. I calculated my TDEE on fitnessfrog.com and got 1700 calories. THEN I used scoobysworkshop.com and it gave me 2065!!!!
Help please! :sick: I've noticed that I lose weight when I'm NOT trying, but when I make a conscious effort (logging calories, exercise, drinking tons of water, etc) I don't lose anything. I have joined and quit MFP 3+ times because each time I get very frustrated. I feel like there's new information every second on here and I can't keep up.
