Anyone tried The Juggernaut Method (original or 2.0)?
I have been doing 5/3/1 for a year now and made awesome gains in size and strength - love what Wendler has put together.
I've just been debating buying the Juggernaut manual for a bit now because I heard it was a spinoff / extension of 5/3/1.

I've had a friend or two that ran juggernaut for a while and didn't have many complaints.
But if you're making awesome gains on 5/3/1, I think Jim would be the first to say "don't fix what isn't broken".
I understand getting bored and wanting to do something new, but from experience, ADD can wreck progress. I wish I would have just stuck with one program until I couldn't get anywhere with it.
What are your goals? To me, Juggernaut was more geared towards overall athleticism, so unless you're training to be in shape for a certain sport, I'd stick more with 5/3/1.
You could look into the Cube Method as well.0 -
In general, my goals are to be strong and be in shape. More specifically, I felt best when I used to play football and was in football shape. I want to get back to that.
That being said, I was just curious if Juggernaut was basically 5/3/1 with lighter weight and more conditioning. (which is kind of what I've heard)0 -

somewhat.
It's essentially a ripoff of 5/3/1 tweaked a little. The higher reps could be a fun change if you're just getting bored.0
