Recently, I joined this group... and as a result I ended up on Strava and as I result I was pointed in the direction of http://www.velominati.com/ - but even more so to their rules.

So how many of you follow Rule number nine (9) and are you bad *kitten*. I plan on going out for a 50km ride tomorrow regardless of the weather. Who is in?

List your ride distance, the weather in your region, including temperature etc. Include a link from the Weather Channel or the Meteorological Service of your country with the specifics of your region.

I have ridden in snow in the past and don't know why I can't do it again and will.

I'm getting primed for the June Just ride challenge and have set my goals pretty high.. But let's do something cool tomorrow.. Regardless of the weather in your region.

So who is in?

105F is the hottest I've ridden in, 8F is the coldest, and 111 miles is the farthest in one day. I will keep riding in the rain when I'm caught in it, but I won't start out when it's raining. Gotta have some limits. I live outside of Philadelphia.

Not too sure of the hottest, but lowest was -9.2, thankfully the roads were bone dry so free of ice

Hottest 105-110 (not sure exactly), coldest -4F (before windchill) in the snow. Was out many times this winter in snow and ice, thankfully my studded tires kept me upright. The guy who owns the LBS told me his dad saw me onthe road one nasty afternoon in February (snowing hard, 6" on the ground already, visibility around 15') and asked him, "Is that guy...alright (mental)?" The LBS guy said, "Yeah, he's just dedicated." Because I commute by bike I'm out in every weather there is, not always by choice though (1 car family), but I've only not commuted by bike 3 days since January 1st. So yeah, I live and breathe rule #9

You want snow riding? One of my ride videos from earlier in the year:

Looks like this weekend might actually be quite nice here after a week of riding in the pouring rain...
