I have bad knees and believe I probably tore my meniscus a few days ago. I've already had 2 surgeries on this knee, so I'm not anxious to go back to the doc because I know what he'll say and I'm just not wanting another surgery on this knee. Anyway, for the last few days, I have been wrapping my knee with an Ace bandage. It seems to help while working out. I also ice and elevate it after every workout.

I do all of the high impact stuff in Insanity on a mini trampoline. It has saved my knees from more damage, I think. I'll just hop on to jog or do the power jumps or jumping jacks, and then move down to the floor for planks or push ups or whatever. You might want to look into getting a mini trampoline (rebounder). They say it takes like 80% of the impact out of the exercise. I highly recommend them. You can get a cheap one at some place like Walmart or you can spend a lot more. I have a medium priced one that is great. It has bungee cords instead of metal springs, so the bounce is very gentle. It's called the Fitness trampoline from a company called Jump Sport.
