I'm a stay-at-home mom of 3 working my way through the C25K program, and trying to lose post-baby pounds - from the "baby" who is now 2 1/2! I have some bad eating habits that I want to change, and hope that by doing that as well as running and some basic strength exercises I can change my body shape to something I like better. I'm a relatively new MFP member and would love to have more contacts - I can use lots of positive encouragement to keep me going!

    Hey everyone, Im Katie! I am trying to just become a healthy person, not really for anyone but me!!! For once I am doing something for me! My daily life is focused around my four kids. I have been a single mom for about 1.5 years now, and I love it! It gets hard at times, but thats ok, they are my world. I do have a very loving boyfriend who is with us about 2-3 days a week, but he lives about 40 minutes away. We have been together a year now. I am currently doing Turbo Fire and LOVE it! I have lost 30lbs and 15"!!! This is a great challenge!!!

    Hello everyone!!!! I walk a lot at work but its not enuff. My body is use to it. I would really love to do a half marathon someday, i know thats a big goal. Theres one coming up in November..... This challenge my help me do it

    Hi Everyone~! I am Sherri, from Wisconsin.

    Been serious on MFP since Jan, but had a set back of surgery in May. Been working on getting back on track for a few weeks because I haven't seen much loss since just before the surgery.

    Doing C25K, walking, workout videos and starting some lifting as well.

    Looking forward to setting some goals with this group!

    *waves* Good to meet everyone! Excited about Aug. I heart my mountain bike, so I'll be biking more than walking, most likely. Plus, my sis ran into a black bear down the road from us on her last walk, so I prefer something faster should I need to outrun any overly furry fitness enthusiasts. lol

    hi yall , im lilly from vancouver bc ,canada. im 26, married for 6yrs. trying to lose he last 40 pounds of the70 pounds i gained with my pregnancy , my daughter kim is turning 3yrs in dec.im a stayb ab home mom, i enjoy travelling globally ,which do 10-12 times a year. with all these vacations, i tend to gain 10 pounds oneach vacation, lose it n time for the next trip, gain all of it back.jus got back from a trip in africa, went to new york, south africa and zimbabwe in 6weeks. staying in hotels and enjoying my native african food doesnt relly help me on my journey.right now am preparing to go back to africa 1st wk of sept for my parents 35th anniversary.im hoping this group and this challenge wll help me to stay on track , an reach my 40 pound loss goal by 15 april 2013---my bday.figers crossed

    Hi everyone , im trish from california, i have three kids and married for 23 yrs . Iam trying to be more healther ,would like to lose a few pounds too . Last x-mas my husband bought me a beach cruiser . Just love it , I ride it all the time when i can . its been too hot to ride , but just a couple of days ago its been cooler ,so I got a chance to ride :happy:
