Hey guys, I was pointed in this group's direction from a post I just made about plateauing because of quitting. Three weeks ago I stopped losing weight-- hmmm... I quit smoking three weeks ago! I am not eating more in place of it, I know that for a fact. Nothing slips by on my MFP diary! Is there any way to skip over this plateau and NOT light up again?

Thanks!

As someone who plateaued often (I am now maintaining), I wouldn't call three weeks a plateau since weight loss isn't linear. Some weeks you lose, some weeks you don't. However, it is suspect that it started as soon as you quit smoking. Stick with it and give your body sometime to adjust to its new normal- the normal that doesn't include nicotine.

    Congrats on quitting!
