I don't see how that is possible since fiber is a carb, but you get to subtract it. So if you have a product that has more fiber than carbs, they probably have not added it to your carbs....

    I think?

the carb count on mfp is not net carbs so fiber shouldn't have anything to do with it. If you open your diary I can be more helpful. I've been at less then 10 carbs a few days. No need to increase them as long as you are feeling good.

You can't have negative carbs for a day.

One thing that happens a LOT in the MFP food database is that people enter foods that have a "net carbs" count on the package, they list the food with "net carbs" in the title, then list the "net carbs" value in the total carbs box AND list the full amount of fiber.

    This isn't right.

Net carbs is total carbs - sugar alcohols - fiber.

If you have something listed with 2 carbs and then 6 grams of fiber, you'll end up with -4 net carbs. Totally not right. It should be 2 or 8g carbs with 6g fiber.

You need to look hard at the items you're entering in to your diary, and pick the one that has the CORRECT carb and fiber count. If there isn't a correct version, make your own entry. Don't try to wing it or fudge it either ("Oh I'll just remember that this is wrong...") because it'll come back to bite you later.

Items scanned by phone, but looking at it it looks like carbs from fibre already subtracted, will watch out for that in future..did think it was a bit odd :ohwell:
