Curious about Exercise

So I am reading the Primal Blueprint now, and reviewing what he says about exercise. Basically, move around alot at a slow pace, lift heavy things, and sprint once in a while.
Lift heavy things- all on board with that. Moving around alot, a good idea as well, and not hard for this NYC girl.
He specifically calls out Spinning, my favorite form of exercise, as "chronic cardio", and bad for us... releasing stress hormones and the like.
I am curious as to what others think about this. I love Spinning and have no real plans to stop... I feel like a million bucks after class and it helps center my mind and makes me feel empowered.
So, what do you folks do for exercise, and how do you feel about this portion of the Blueprint?

The most underrated advice ever: listen to your body.
Your body responds well to spinning. So spin away...
Now that I'm no longer bombarding my body with unhealthy foods, and especially now that my portion sizing is reasonable, I can sense things much better. I know when I need to eat more carbs, run a bit, or get more sleep.
If something is working for you, why would you ever want to change it?

GOOD POINT! :bigsmile:0 -
I found my body responds the best to the Primal way of exercising. I love to lift heavy things, sprint once in a while, and walk and mountain bike a lot. I've got years of metabolic damage to work through, though. My body breaks down if I do the chronic cardio and I have wicked cortisol responses (tired all day, wired at night, shaking). Mark Sisson does say on his blog that if it makes you feel good, go with it! It is when it becomes a chore or it stresses you out that you shouldn't do what ever you're doing. If you love spinning, then do it! Whatever makes you happy!0

one of the biggest things I got out of his book is to BE HAPPY! if it makes you happy and doesn't stress your body to the point of being uncomfortable, then go with it. He states in the 21 day transformation that if you're not enjoying it, then it's not good for you I just love it! especially coming from all these "diets" where you're supposed to suffer, this one finally makes sense0
