Did my first 5K yesterday, finished in 36:31. I did have to walk about a quarter of the last mile (and I had to take an unexpected pee break at the turn around point, lol). I'm really proud of myself for finishing the race, although I little disappointed I couldn't run the whole thing. There were a few factors that affected me, including the heat, my GPS failing and therefore not knowing my pace, running and keeping pace with someone which I'm not used to, etc. I actually ended up running about 10:30 minute miles during the race when I've been training at 12-12:30, so I think that's mostly why I got so tired in the last mile.

Anyway, without the potty break, I probably would have come in just under 36, even with the walking! So proud to have accomplished this goal and looking forward to the next steps! Thank you C25K!
