another week down...another cycle complete. Today is day 2 of cycle 3 for me....and I celebrated by eating pizza! UGH! Not the best way to start!! Tomorrow is another day a new beginning!

This is C1D2 for me. Time to take care of those last 8 lbs. The first few days are always the toughest - work stress is making me want to run for carbs, but I shall resist!!!!0

Still on cycle 2 but don't really feel deprives anymore...nervous to go onto cycle 3 because I don't want to slow down on the weight loss. This week I'm committing to exercising a minimum of 4 times.0

Back to cycle 1 for me today, after gaining a bit back! All of my fun summer commitments are over now though, so other than some time at my parents' cottage, I don't have much planned and want to make a dent before September hits.0

Hey ladies! Cycle 2 day 2 for me. Forgot to eat my carbs yesterday and today was a carb day for me. I had oatmeal mid morning, after a hardboiled egg and morningstar sausage patty early (like 6 am--I work early!) and I was SO hungry after the oatmeal?!!? Way hungrier than Ive been in days on cycle one. I think the carbs are not great for me. Maybe my mistake was not having it with a protein. It was a whole grain hot cereal so I thought it would be ok. I had a cup of oatmeal too and just counted it as both servings. I may need to split them up. Keeping up on the water. Enjoyed a steak for dinner and I wasn't cheating! wow.
7 lbs lost on cycle one. I'm 6-7 lbs within my goal.
eagle, cycle 3 weight loss is slower but just remember it's helping you in the long run by keeping that metabolism going.
stephanj, the last few pounds seem to be the hardest!0 -
Just thought I'd share this. Before I started the 17 Day diet it was really hard for me to lose weight. So far I have lost 31 lbs on this diet in around 4.5 months. But the best thing is that my thyroid was bordering on the high side for two years. In the last 4 months it is right in the middle of the range. All my medical tests came out perfect. This diet has not only made me lose weight but also get healthier.0

Back from 2 weeks away and gained a HUGE amount. Hopefully it will come off as quick as it went on and that I'm holding water due to a long haul flight!
