    Just read the book and was impressed. I do believe that blood sugar is responsible for weight as well as other health issues. He does a segment on QVC selling his book, but it is really informative.

    Margaret,
    He is Dr. Mark Hyman and big on "functional medicine"; he treats your whole life, not just symptoms. Bottom line, if you get your life right, symptoms will clear up of their own accord. Fascinating stufff that makes sense to me. I saw that he was doing a weekend seminar at Kripalu (Yoga retreat in Lexington, Mass that I had always wanted to visit) in the Spring so I went; he basically went over the principals in his book. Very inspiring.
