Hello my single peeps! I have been MIA for a couple weeks I think. I haven't been on the internet much and have just been logging food from my phone (when I actually log lol).
How was everyone's weekend/how has everyone been?
BF and I are still doing well. I met his ex wife last week. She came through town with her fiance to see the dogs. She's really nice actually and it wasn't as awkward as I thought it might be. She even complimented me and said that I was cool and good for Steve, so that's nice, lol.
But anyway, how has everyone else been?

Welcome back!!!
I've been busy, too. Taking 2 classes and working is kicking my *kitten*! But it will be over in 1 1/2 weeks. (I never thought I'd be wishing summer away). I've been able to have a couple of mini-getaways, which have been nice. But I don't think my skin can take any more sun!! Haha.0 -
My weekend was great, went up to Mackinaw Island with the woman, rode bikes, ate fudge, etc. I think we both had fun and didn't want to kill each other by the end of the weekend so that's a good sign.
And next week I'll be off all week for a family vacation up north!0 -
My weekend was pretty good. Fourth date with Mike, we went to dinner and saw Bourne Legacy. No brown chicken brown cow though. Starting to feel a little frisky here. lol
The rest of the weekend I spent with my son. He is such a wonderful little boy but there are times I want to toss him over the balcony. haha0 -

Haha! While the ex was staying with Steve, he was like "damn I'm so horny" and he pulled me into the bathroom while her and her dude were watching TV in the living room and we had a little quickie. It was awesome!0 -
My weekend was good. Friday night I chilled at home since I had to be to work by 8am on saturday. I worked 7:30-12:30 on saturday and followed that up with softball practice. I was supposed to go out with a friend for her birthday saturday night but they had friends come up from Columbia, SC unexpectically and I don't really like them so I decided to rest my ankle some more Saturday night. Sunday was my typical sunday and I spent it on the softball field followed by some people from all 6 teams in our group going to a local watering hole. We have a new team and there is this one girl on the team that I can tell I am going to tell off some time before the end of the season.0

Not sure of the psychological implications of that. But in any case, glad you're getting some... :-)

LOL. It wasn't because she was there. We're still in the eff-like-bunnies phase of the relationship and the fact that people were staying over was a nuisance in our "routine"0 -

Now that is just mean. LOL Love those little quickies.0 -
On Friday night I went on second date with guy from POF. It went well, at the end I asked if I would see him again, and he said "absolutely", but with no follow up on when, and have not heard from him since, so we shall see.....
On Saturday, I went to my friends" beach house and spent the day with her brothers/sister/kids and extended family.
Yesterday I ran errands with my cousin and just chilled out--was blazing HOT--not a good day to do too much.So I made a chicken cordon bleu for dinner (modified), but was good. Then talked to a new guy on the phone for 3 hours, and we are meeting tonight0 -
Hi sweety! Good to see ya...
Weekend was good. Friday went to see an 80s cover band with Hulk, my BFF, her hub and another gf. It was a blast! I had so much fun. Then Saturday Hulk and I went to lunch. We parted ways. I stayed in Saturday night and caught up on sleep.
On sunday i slept in and then went to movies and dinner with Hulk.
Overall fun fun weekend! I'll be going to Cali this week. Can't wait!!0 -
Had a date thursday with a girl that is so far out of my league (In my own mind), it's not even funny, but she had a good time and wants to see me again. We went out for pizza, then I took her to a craft beer shop and bought her a 6 pack of beers she likes, and finally we went out and played a few games of pool and talked for a few hours. No kiss at the end of the date, but she did agree to go out with me again.
Then I had another date with a friends sister last night. We went for sushi, then we went for dessert. Talked the whole time, laughed, joked, had an awesome time. Already making plans to go out with her again. Still, no kiss at the end of the first date.
Is that normal nowadays? I know I want a girl who is more than wanting to just jump in the sack with me, but I guess the kiss would show some serious interest. Damn women are confusing. lol0 -

Most girls won't kiss you, lol. Especially on the first date. They are probably waiting for you to make a move.0 -

I don't think any one is out of my league.
I like the idea of a kiss at the end of a first date. A kiss, if it is substantial, is a true indicator of interest. Without the kiss, it becomes much harder to read the tea leaves and gauge where interest is. A woman, after looking at you and talking with you for a couple of hours, should know whether she feels enough attraction to you to want to kiss you. I interpret a no kiss first date as a bad sign. It isn't an absolute deal breaker, but I will be somewhat soured on the woman if there is no first date kiss.0 -

Did you try to kiss her or were you waiting for her to make the move? I admit, I always follow the guy's lead on this one so if you didn't get kissed, you didn't go for it. But I do play the game- waiting around, fumbling my keys, being touchy to indicate my interest, however I have never been the first to initiate it on a first or second date.0 -

I agree. I tend to wait for the guy to make the move if he wants a kiss. I'd say that if they accepted a second date, and you have a good time, go for it!!0 -
Jax, just because you didn't get the kiss doesn't mean that it's a no-go. I have only initiated 1 first kiss and that was because he said I was giving him mixed signals. So I decided to make it pretty clear!
But other than that, I wait on the guy. So if these chicks were waiting on you, look for the signs. The looking into your eyes, smiling, flirting, licking lips, looking at your lips, etc. Those are the classic signs... Then you dive in!! Did you see any of these?0 -

Yes, looking for the signs is a big deal. Also, you want to hold hands and possibly run your fingers through her hair first, see how she reacts to your touch (it is good if she initiates physical contact). I use this to test the waters for the first kiss, and if I get these signs, I initiate the kiss.0 -

Maybe I'm weird but I don't ever kiss on the first date. A nice hug, and if you want the kiss you'll come back for more.
If it was awesome and I see us getting married in a few months on the other hand, I'll maybe give him a peck on the cheek! LOL:smooched: :noway:0 -
WB Buff - the quickies!
Sounds like in general a pretty good weekend for everyone.
I stayed around the house, found out two guys I have had crushes on are getting married. Meanwhile, havent heard from the bf really at all this weekend. A guy I used to date many years ago is trying to actively get into my pants. He is a sweet guy, but I do not want/need a man to read to me when I am not feeling well, or even rub my feet (DO NOT TOUCH MY FEET!!!). And to be honest, with the things I like to do - hiking etc, he is really not able to do a lot of the things I truly love doing, because he is in a wheelchair. (and no I am not even remotely thinking about leaving my relationship for this)
oh well pushing forward!! Have a great rest of the week everyone!
ETA: I do not kiss on the first date. I prefer a man to make the first move because to be honest I cant always read a guys signals. I am man "stupid"0 -
Yeah, I'm bad at signals too. That's why I wasn't sure. I'll definitely try at the end of the second date. I've heard about the 3 date rule, that if you don't have some form of physical contact that you wouldn't normally have with a relative (I said normally because I am in the south), then you are friendzoned. I do NOT want to be friendzoned with either of these women, so they have 2 more dates. :-P lol0
-
If I touch you- gently brush or place my hand on your arm, touch your hand = I like you
I will not touch someone I do not like or am remotely interested in.0 -
Hello niece, nice to see you're still in the rabbit stage and enjoying every minute  :flowerforyou:

Sunday I met a friend for drinks and saw the closing ceremony.
I am sad its all over now :brokenheart:0 -

You definitely need to make a move on the next date I agree that you can gauge interest by her touching you and her response to your touches. Good luck :flowerforyou:0 -

I like both Hells Kitchen & Masterchef. Hells Kitchen is more funny though cuz of Gordon's brash 'piss off' attitude. :laugh:0 -
