Speed?

This is my second time doing c25k. The first time I made it to week 7 and then we moved and I missed running or walking that matter for over 3 weeks. I am now on week 3 day 3 and surprisingly it is going well. However, I get so frustrated because I am so slow. If I really run I can not finish the full 3 minutes, but I feel like since I have made it this far I should have a faster pace than 16-17 minute miles. Am I the only one that has this problem?

    Forget about speed. You will get faster as your fitness improves. And on the off chance that doesn't happen, you can always repeat C25K with slow jogging and fast running.

    Speed = SLOW! Eventually you can work up to faster. I'm happy with slow for now.
