Amazing how quickly it adds up. Heavy rain forcast for tomorrow so walking could be a little wet! At least the Olympic closing ceremony was in good weather. Really enjoyed the Olympics and the great feeling in the UK while they were on.0 -

42.5 miles done, 32.5 to go. I'm hoping to get 7 miles in tomorrow and 5 on Sunday. My mother-in-law is coming for a week next Tuesday so maybe I'll get in some extra miles while she is here. I'm happy that I'm on track with my miles considering that I took 4 days off from exercise, haven't gotten back into my exercise routine from the beginning of the month and have no free time from the kids to get in my normal runs. I've been going to a deserted parking lot and letting them play while I run around the lot! LOL0 -

50 MILES DONE!!! I am amazed! Only 25 to go and since I didn't get my trail run in today due to rain all night, I'm going to try that tomorrow and on Tuesday, I'm going to start training for a half marathon! There is a 13K that I really want to do at the end of October but the furthest that I have run without stopping to walk is 3.5 miles! LOL When looking through the half marathon training guide, I really don't think that I can do it but even if I have to walk some of it, I'm going to try it. I'm hoping that I can either get to the point of being able to do a 13K in under 90 minutes or finding someone to do the relay with me which would mean that I only have to do half of it in which case I will try to get my speed down to 10 minute mile for a 40 minute run.0 -

Wow, You are doing so amazing!! How exciting that you are training for a half a marathon, and sounds like you are well on your way! 3.5 miles is an awesome distance to run, and you'll be running even longer in no time! Keep going, you're going to knock your 75 mile goal out of the park!0 -

Congrats to you! Wooohooo! I would love to do another challenge next month if I could include bike riding for the miles as well. Sadly I am going to be 1.5 mile under the 50 miles. I started the 30 day shred videos on Monday and I have been too sore most days to walk. When I did feel okay to walk it wasn't that far before the soreness came back.
