My go to snacks are one plain rice cake with peanut butter, sunflower seed butter, or pumpkin seed butter. A piece of fruit, or some greek yogurt or cottage cheese. I like to put a bit of variety in, keep it under 200 cals, and this way I don' t get bored. Sometimes I'll even have 3-4 ounces of chicken. Protein always soothes the cravings and keeps me fuller, longer.0

Hi Boomers....I just discovered this group and signed on today. When I pack my lunch for work, I often take a hard boiled egg to snack on mid-morning. Other snacks I enjoy are hummus with pita chips, Kraft Honeymaid Gramfuls (yummy graham cracker w/peanut butter inside for only 120 calories), fruit - especially cherries this time of year, Popchips and popcorn.0

My favorite snacks are rice crackers and laughing cow cheese wedge.
The very last thing that I have everyday is 1 Dove dark chocolate Promise, with caramel & sea salt (38 calories)0 -
Does any one have a low cal spread or dip, I luv salsa(luv the stuff) Only problem is what to use as the dipper???
Its hard to avoid chips!!!0 -
Carrot, celery, pepper to dip or any other veg you like raw. You eat less dip as the veg takes longer to chew and fills you more. Win win0

My snacks tend to be fruit or veg or handful of cereal. Something more substantial a fruit ryvita (sweet and sugar in raisins) with houmous and in the evening a divestive biscuit and hot drink sets me up for bed.0

mamawjoyce, I just read something yesterday where someone said they used pea pods as a dip for salsa. Both are good for you and low calorie. I am going to give them a try!0
