Holiday Season Depression
Do any of you baby boomers get depressed at holiday time? I've always had some holiday depression, but it seems worse since I've entered menopause. As soon as it's the new year, I feel a lot better. I wish I loved the holidays, but each year I dread them and am relieved that they are over for another year.
1600-1700 calories a day
I am curious if there are any baby boomers losing weight at 1600-1700 calories a day. That is what I have been averaging this week. With my hour of exercise a day, supposedly this brings me down to almost 1200 net calories which should give me a 2# weight loss per week. However, I have never eaten this many calories to…

getting daily calorie goal
I marvel at the food diaries with 1600-1700 calories. How do you reach the suggested daily calorie goal? With the net calories from exercise, I can't get close and still keep my macronutrients at goal. I ate a whole whopping 1000+ cals the other day and did a happy dance. Nutrisystem and MFP
I am on Nutrisystem and counting the calories with MFP. Has anybody had any luck with this combination? I am trying to lose 25 pounds and maintain after that. Also I sprained my ankle...any ideas for exercising? Thanks

I have lost from 260 lbs down to 238 since april2012, I am losing inchs from fingers,face,legs,feet not too much from my belly is this happening to anyone else?? I look like a olive on a toothpick!!:grumble:
