In the "red" for Cholesterol, nearly every day... (???)

Hi, I wanted to ask my fellow low-carbers if I should be concerned about going over on my cholesterol nearly every day? I can only see it on my mobile but I'm allotted 300 mg and I'm usually eating 400-600 a day. Should I be concerned?
I feel like I'm still eating healthy, and not that much "bad" fat. I occaisionally have bacon, but the meats I eat are all lean or fish. I do eat about 3-4 eggs a week.
I'd be interested in any input or advice you can give!
Thanks!

The part your doctor may have left out: triglycerides are made from....carbohydrates.0 -

This exactly^^
Don't worry about some arbitrary number made up by MFP for cholesterol (if that's what you're seeing). I probably eat well over that every single day and my blood cholesterol is rock bottom.0 -
Thanks everyone! It is a # MFP set up and I haven't yet seen the Dr. about it, I'll be going in about a month and wanted to start working on changes if I should.
I know I've improved on not eating as much sugar as I used too- or carbs!
Thanks!0 -
Yup, enjoy the eggs, the body will make more cholesterol than we will ever eat.
With good reason too, we need it

Correct. Hydrogenated fats, artificial fats, chemicals used as preservatives in fats, processed flour, the majority of breads made with any type of BLEACHED flour, cakes, pies, pastries, etc... they all contribute to your triglyceride levels.
When cholesterol is in its most natural form: eggs, animal proteins for meat, butter, etc - those are the varieties that are good for low-carb intakes without contributing to the triglyceride count.0
