PLEASE HELP!

I have been reading the stickies and everything makes since but I still need help. MFP set me at 1350 calories. I've been doing this for 10 days and lost 6 pounds. I am starting to feel bad though. I have had a headache for 3 days now and I just can't imagine this is right for a 245 pound 5'10 person. I have done Zumba 9/10 days but today I am weak and irritable. I increased my calories to 1790 on my own today to see if that helps. I don't care about losing fast I just want something I can stick to. I was probably eating 3000 calories before MFP and no exercise. Please help!

If I was starting again, I'd start out with mfp's maintenance calories and see what happened. If I'd done that first time round I would have lost nice and gently. Instead I did what mfp said, lost fast and became anaemic! Mfp's calculations don't suit everyone and I personally believe experimentation to be the best way to find out your calorie needs.
I really admire you for recognising there's a problem and not feeling you have to tough it out.:flowerforyou:0 -
Have you gone to the scooby site and entered in your details? I'm guessing you will need to eat even more - I am shorter and a bit lighter than you, and not as active, and I eat 2175 per day.0

Thank you! I have increased to 1800 after calculating my body fat and bmr. They suggest more, but I think I'll try this for a while and see how it goes. I feel much better today after eating 1800 cals yesterday. Ready for my Zumba tonight!0

You are still under eating and over exercising...
According to the scooby calculator - http://scoobysworkshop.com/accurate-calorie-calculator/ - your bmr is 1841 so you would need to eat that PLUS your exercise calories back to stay above your bmr... If you can commit to it, try to net your BMR for a few weeks. You will be amazed how your body thanks you.
these are good tools to figure out your numbers too:
