I’m Betty an active 82 yr old. struggling to loose weight. Think my body is acting in starvation mode? Have been keeping intake at 800 — 1000 calories. Weight has gone up about 8 lbs. Trying 1200 calories with careful high protein foods. Any suggestions.? Thanks

I’m 316 pounds and MFP says for me to lose 2 lbs a week I need to consume 2,010 calories.
