I’m Betty an active 82 yr old. struggling to loose weight. Think my body is acting in starvation mode? Have been keeping intake at 800 — 1000 calories. Weight has gone up about 8 lbs. Trying 1200 calories with careful high protein foods. Any suggestions.? Thanks

Hi betty. Oh my on the calorie intake. What are you doing for "activity". Does it involve any strength training/lifting weights? Do you eat mainly whole foods?0
