Anyone here fight? MMA, boxing, or otherwise?
Not sparring, actually compete in sanctioned fights.

I've had a few "Masters" boxing matches0

Boxed in the Marine Corps. Early 70's. Not very good at it. Fought 7 times. Lost 3 times, before I realized I should stick with Martial Arts.
Did compete in Karate and TKd from 1974 until 1987. Nationally and Internationally
Even enterred a few "Toughman" Contests.0 -
that's great. I can't get into boxing, the footwork doesn't happen with me. I prefer muay Thai, it's much more of a 'stand and bang' approach. I also am an amateur MMA fighter, only 2 fights in. Probably another 1-2 before the year is out.0

Best of luck in your competition, nothing as motivating as having a competition to focus on0

Excellent! I have another no-gi match in September (exhibition style during an MMA card) and will probably schedule a fight against a top-10 fighter in Nov/Dec/Jan.
Looking to fight the #1 guy in New England and take that spot!0 -
Good luck to you! I'll be interested in seeing your training progress.0
