We are about half way through this challenge!

    6/27: 158.2
    7/2: 157.6 < Down 0.6
    7/9: 158.2 < Up 0.6
    7/1: 155.4 < Down 2.8
    8/3: 155.4 < One month, no progress???
    8/14: 154.4 < Down 1 pound
    8/20: 153.2 < Down 1.2 pounds
    8/29: 151.4 < Down 1.8 pounds

Total: 6.8 pounds lost since we started the challenge.

    Measurements:
    Neck: Down .25
    Chest: Down 1/8.
Bust: Stayed the same. DH will like that!
    Waist: Down 5/8"
    Belly: Down 1 5/8"
    Hip: Down 7/8.
    Thigh: Up 7/8 *
    Butt: **
    Above knee: Down .5"
    Below knee: Down .25
    Calf: Down 1/4
    Ankles: Down 1/8
    Instep: Down 1/8.
    Arms: Down .25
    Wrist: No Change.

    Total: 5 inches lost from 8/15-8/29 * (14 days)

    * This weeks loss does not account for the gain in my thigh. While disappointing, I am VERY aware that I have an IT Band issue -- very painful, and, I suspect, my upper leg is very swollen.
** Butt: I used to measure it separately, but it is now so close to my hip size that I don't bother.

I began this journey in late March, when I admitted to weighting 2.2 pounds more than I did exactly one year ago today. I used to weigh and measure regularly. For some reason, when I began this journey, I didn't. (We did a program for 13 weeks, and our coach did take measurements, but not as complete as I do.) My current measurement journal begins in late June, when we ended that program, and when I began this challenge. My last previous measurements were taken exactly one year ago, today.

    From August 29, 2011 to August 29, 2012:
I went from 172.8 pounds to 151.4 pounds (Down 21.4)
Body fat went from 37 to 33.2 (Down 3.8)
BMI went from 31.8 to 27.9 (Down 3.9)

    1 year inches lost:
    Neck: 1
    Chest: 2.25
    Bust: 3
    Waist: 2
    Belly: 6 3/4!!!
    Hip: 2 1/3
    Thigh: 2 3/8
    Butt: 5.25!!!
    Above knee: 2 3/8
    Below knee: 1 5/8
    Calf: 1 1/8
    Ankles: .5
    Instep: .25
    Arms: .25
    Wrist: 1/8

    One year loss: 31.2 inches!

While, naturally, I wish it was more, and I'm not thrilled with the numbers, I AM thrilled with the progress!

We have about 8 weeks left, and I still have 13.2 pounds to make my 20 pound goal. I'm not sure that I can do it, but I'll try!

Good luck to all of you!
