I am looking for some delicious winter-y primal recipes. I'd like some stew or chili recipes and maybe some crockpot stuff. If you have an absolute FAVORITE, can you send me the link or post it here? I've browsed all sorts of websites, but I'm really looking for a collections of winner that I can turn to on a minute's notice. Thanks!!!

I made a spinach, chicken mushroom skillet meal that was quick and easy! 2 lb chicken breast cut into chunks, 1/2 bag frozen spinach, 8 oz fresh mushrooms slices, as much garlic as you like. Heat either coconut or olive oil, add garlic and spinach, cook about 3-4 min and add chicken. When chicken is almost done, add mushrooms and squeeze the juice of a fresh lemon over it all.
BTW, love this thread idea. I am only about 2.5 weeks into eating this way and could use some recipe ideas as well!0 -
I love both of these

Beef and root vegetable stew (serves 3)
Tesco - Tomato Puree- Double Concentrated, 1 tablespoon
Flippo Berio - Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 2 Tbsp (15 ml)
Onions - Raw, 180 g
Carrots - Raw, 200 g
Tesco - British Beef Diced, 725 g
Sainsbury's - Parsnips (Raw), 200 g
Kallo Organic - Beef Stock Cubes, 1 cube (made up to 600ml)
Tiana - Coconut Flour (Organic) (Uk), 30 g
Couple of sprigs of rosemary
Heat olive oil in a frying pan and brown the diced beef in it. Once beef is ready, use a slotted spoon to put it in slow cooker. Dice the veggies and add those to the slow cooker. Use the fat remaining in the pan to fry the onions until they're soft. Add the flour to the pan and then slowly add the stock. Once that's done, add the tomato puree and the rosemary abd then bring to the boil. Add this to the slow cooker and then cook the mixture on high for about 5-6 hours.0 -

Are you on Pinterest?
If so, here's mine: http://pinterest.com/kbray003/food/
It's not all paleo, but a lot of it is. There are some pretty yummy things on there. I am going to make the spaghetti squash bake tomorrow with grass fed ground beef..... OMG I can't wait!0 -
Hello friends - if you join the group "The Cook" on here, there's a Primal/Paleo reciple thread - some pretty good stuff is included!
I also google a bunch of Primal/Paleo blogs for recipes as well.

Made a great one last night:
Browned some nice ground beef with onions, garlic and zuccini. Added some fab homemade pasta sauce and stuffed the mix into some beautiful red peppers, sprinkled with a little bit of grated parm and baked for about an hour. Served it with a bit of pasta for the family, salad for me. Even my non primal family loved them, and they were so easy! I didn't follow a recipe, I just made it up as I went along, really, so you could add anything you wanted to the stuffing.0 -
A paleo (could be adapted to use dairy if you like) no-oat meal: http://cavemanstrong.com/2011/01/no-oatmeal/
I just made a version of it this morning, although I didn't have all the ingredients. So I did the eggs, the banana, 2 handfuls of almonds, a big scoop of almond butter, and some cinnamon. It turned out FANTASTIC. I used to love oatmeal, but I think I might like this even better.0 -
We love this Primal Philly Cheesesteak in a Bowl from Health-Bent - I think I made it almost once a week for months last winter: http://www.health-bent.com/beef/philly-cheesesteak-in-a-bowl
And I'm dying for fall to get here quick so I can make my Chipotle Chili again: http://sosimplygood.com/2011/11/01/paleo-chipotle-beef-chili/0 -
