Starting Weights and Goal for end of Challenge

Exciting to see so many people taking part in the challenge...! I am new to myfitnesspal and this is my first challenge. Looking forward to taking part!

I hope to lose one pound per week, if I can do more that's great! But, I have had a really hard time shedding these pounds and want to have a realistic goal. I am hopeful that I can lose more but as long as I am losing each week, I will be happy!

I have more to drop.. but this is a start. I have to start slow on the exercise due to the fact that I have an ankle injury and am waiting to have an MRI to r/o fracture and/or ligament damage. I have been going to the gym and doing weights and elliptical. I will be doing the weights and the stationary bike.. Good luck everyone!0 -

For YEARS I've been lik 'I need to loose some weight, starting TODAY' and failing miserably! Maybe it's time to have an actual plan and some support before it get's out of control. So, I've never done a challenge before but I am looking forward to this one! I know it will give me the structure and motivation I need to really do it this time!
If anyone has any advice or encouragement I'd love to hear it!

My goal is to get back into my old smaller clothes. If that's by shrinking inches and losing less weight - I'll be ok with that.
