I joined MFP and started Paleo one week ago. I've been continuously surprised at how not-as-difficult-as-I-thought the switch to Paleo would be. I haven't cheated, and have barely been tempted in my first week! Of course, I didn't have any social activities or anything in the past week, so I know the coming weeks will get tougher, especially as we get closer to the holiday season.
However, I am THRILLED with my results so far! After 7 days of Paleo I've lost 5 pounds. Also lost an inch off my bust, an inch and a half off my waist, an inch off my belly and an inch off my hips! Woohoo!

That's a great start MsDivine. As you have been keeping your carbs very low, close to Atkins Induction levels this will apply to you also.

You're doing great, just don't expect to reach your goal in 8 weeks ( your current rate and pace). It will, it must in fact, slow down.0 -

Oh I know - it took 9 months to gain this weight, so it definitely won't come off overnight! My goal is to lose it all and have kept it off by my birthday at the end of April. That's be almost exactly 8 months!0 -
Beautiful MsDevine. 40 lbs in 8 months. That's just about 1 lb a week . You can do it! That's plenty of time to establish new habits to replace to old ones and to tone up as you are losing the weight.0
