Geez! My tests show that my levels are down again! Last time they were high. Dr. wants me to quite the cytomel.
*sigh* I don't think they know whats what. Giving up. Too much to deal with. Have Rheumatoid arthritis now as well as fibromyalgia and a ton of new meds. I just feel crappy all the time....I don't even care what my thyroid is doing now lol. I will let them play with my meds. I don't know.

I'm so sorry to here that, just a thought.... Do you take your blood test 1 hour after your meds? With cytomel, you burn through it so timing does matter but with the T4 it shouldn't matter what time you take the blood test.
But, I have had issues with my old endo that kept reducing my T4/T3 combo meds because of my TSH level which was suppressed for soooooo long and l so I finally got a new endo and we're working with the T4/T3 combo and discussing on how i'm feeling with the dosage and not just looking at the lab numbers.
The most important thing is to find a endo that will listen to how you are feeling and not just look at the lab numbers.
I hope you fell better soon.0 -
I actually had it backwards....sorry....I am too high...that is why she wants me to stop the cytomel.
I take tests whenever I am at the Drs....I take my meds in the evening.0
