I know I know---it sounds like it doesn't even go together. Having HYPER thyroid and not being able to lose weight but even worse - continually gaining. My endocrinologist insists my levels are good and it is not my thyroid. Anyone else having or had this issue and have any good advice?
What kind of doctor or care provider does one diagnosed with thyroid disease use for treatment? I’m generally curious what the majority of the public does and who they see. I personally was first diagnosed by my family physician D.O. Then I moved to a specialist an Endocrinologist. Now I find myself thinking maybe I should…

Does anyone else have hashimoto's? I always thought I was just hypothyroid but it turns out I have the autoimmune disorder. I've been looking up diets beneficial to hashi's and found that something similar to Keto is very effective. I've been doing this for a little over a week now and losing weight has been a LOT easier!
Back story I have had hypothyroidism since 2004. In 2016 I lost my weight and was 130 lbs. I’m on 150 mcg of levothyroxine a day. Last Nov my mom got sick. Passed away in February 2020 and With the travel and no time for meal prep and taking care of her I put some of the weight back on. Then COVID hit and the rest said hey…
