Lab results

I got my labs back. Wanted to get some advice from others. I know they are within normal range technically but maybe I should aim for lower numbers 🤷🏼♀️ I’m currently on 88mcg Synthroid.
TSH-High sensitivity - 2.53
T4 free- non dialysis - 1.4
T3 free - non dialysis - 2.3
A1c hemoglobin with eAg- 5.5%/111
She didn’t check my anti bodies this time which I think could have been helpful in determining if gluten free eating has lowered inflammation and the attack on my thyroid. Maybe next time. I pay cash so the doc is usually careful about what she orders for me due to cost and all.
So, I guess I’m wondering if I should request additional tests? Or if I want to up my meds to get lower numbers? Can anyone offer any insight or opinions regarding my labs? I will see my endocrinologist on Monday but it’s nice to get insight from fellow long term Hashimotos patients and hypothyroid patients.
Thanks for any info your willing to share.

May I appologise for not seeing your post earlier, I've been here but not as attentive as I could be.
Firstly I am no expert, simply been through the mill like many others. I'm saddened not to see reverse t3 test results. The difference between total t3 and the reverse is the amount available for your body to use. (In the UK where I am, we are not permitted to have this tested, its seen as irrelivant) It seems to make sense to me to know the balance. A body can cope with a few reverse t3 but if you are on equal amounts someone could feel really ill. I'm sorry you are under financial constraint, the effect can be much like some of us have over here when we can't get the tests on the NHS which tell more of the story.
I'm wondering if you are feeling any benefits from being glutein free. Much can depend on how long you have been free and how dilligent you have been. It seems some can feel benefits after a couple of months, others longer and some it even takes 12 months! Within that some people are set right back to square one when they have the smallest amount of glutein.
Thyroid conditions are more complicated than many doctors seem to think. I'm pleased you are visiting and Endocrinologist. Tsh is the result of your body requesting active t3. I think i have seen the range 0.5 to 2 as being used in some areas. Its possible your body may feel better if more t3 were available. So much depends on your symptoms. I expect you will have received some better advice by now. I hope so. Please let us know how you are doing. Take care
By the way, the website, STTM, stop the thyroid madness, comes in book form, hypothyroidmom is useful. I think both have lists of Doctors who are supportive to Thyroid patients, if you have one in your area. The national thyroid support sites are also good carrying the same information.
