I think that question should be "what don't you eat with oats?"

My regular choc/cinnamon/peanut flour with some fruit & homemade granola I made
    pumpkin/berry overnight
gingerbread (was ok, not that great)
    Elvis
    peanut/maple with fruit

    They're my go to's.

I'm not as fancy as others with my oats. I've got some cinnamon roll whey that I put in mine.

    THURSDAY

Elvis oats are the best thing i've ever seen. haha! WIll have to give it ago. WHen you do you have them? anytime?

Also i've put abit of cinnamon in my coffee its not bad if it made it sweeter it would be great. might have to experiment.

Today iget to do some lifting finally. SQUATS! i got to catch on my PPP routine. My calves are so sore from skipping the other night. i guess it gave em a shock to hit the rope again. hahah.

Also its only day three but i want to monitor my fats abit more. i want to keep it in the 40's range or abit lower but obviously not really low. Just as an experiment see if it will help my gains and losses .i went over yesterday but minimal was saturated fats so thats all good.

looking forward to more worksouts and optimal food options.

    I eat it whenever

I concur re the break from skipping. Stretch those suckers!

That's pretty low fat but some self experimentation is always good. I'm around 60g normally. Remember it can average out just like other macros/cals. So if you really wanted to you could do very low fat one day and very high fat the next (and the opposite for carbs).

Have fun squatting. What is the target on this PPP? Woody is doing the 120kg squat, 90kg bench and 150kg DL. He's only up to week 2 but is finding it pretty easy going so far. It's his first go at PPP also. Week 4 is when it starts to get hard IMO.

Yeah week 5 is where i am starting to feel it and its starting to get fun! week 6 after a week of absense so will be fresh. I want to target 25% of fat per lbm so it equates to 38g F any lower will play with my hormones. So far i havent really scrutinised my fat intake during my calorie monitoring time.

My prediction is that trying to hit 40g F is not going to be sustainable for me. Unless i nut out a really good daily plan.

THURSDAY arvo squat session was great. getting better at front squats and doing dumbbell front squats i found was great on the abs especially holding a 50kg dumbbell is tricky (without flattening your feet) Definitely a great ab and hammy exercise. Hopefully 2moro chest then Saturday morning DEADLIFTS! boom.

Great feed tonight Steak, Rice, Pesto green beans and squash + a scoop of icecream.

2moro or Saturday will be a higher fat day.

Do you mean goblet squat with the DB? That's pretty damn heavy for them!

BTW plug you're opening figures into this. http://usmc.pftcalculator.com/ Trying to get everyone to use that one for a fair comparison because of the variances that you can get from all the different methods.

    SATURDAY
So woke up this morning and my body said dont you get the **** out of bed. So i stayed in bed which is good but the uni gym only opens till 11.30am in the morning on Saturdays. thats a uni gym for ya. HOpefully they'll open on sundays soon from popular demand.

Anyway so today will be a rest day i guess. My fat intake has been set low 20% of DCI but its 25% of lbm anyway according to google and other social sites my daily fats should be approx 60g abit less if you want to loss weight. So being considerable low i today i'll hit higher to level things out. will stay in the 38-60g fat range and will try have one high day every week. will be mainly filling quota with good fats, nuts, avo, fish oils etc. i have high cholesterol and always regardless of my balance diet and exercise in the past so this 8 week challenge will help with lowering my cholesterol which is what i hypothesize as i'll be targeting my fat intake particular saturated fats. End of 8 week blood test boom.

It definitely started yesterday when opted for non-crumbed meat in my sushi rolls instead of the norm....

If i can get my cholesterol under 5 and have most of it consist of HDL and minimal LDL then this challenge would have been a blessing in disguise.

If you have any thoughts on this let me know.

    TUESDAY
So i havent done much updating due to being busy with Uni etc. But i've been logging consistently so thats good. Had a wedding to go to on Saturday night. so the alcohol blew my daily cals out. thats all good i am not looking to win this thing plus its a celebration i am not that anal about it.

Yesterday was a great lifting session PPP Squats and assistance. Lifts are on track just got to be consistant with food. I got a few events on in the next few weeks i'll try make good choices but with alcohol involved it looks pretty slim. see how i go lol.

Thought i would put up some of the foods i am eating consistently during the challenge.

Omellette/Frittata with extra whites, spinach, cottage cheese and smoked salmon (sometimes) also Protein Oats with apple and cinnamon. loving it. Not food porn just good quality eats.
