Chameleon coconut

Has anyone else wondered how there are so many different coconut products, but all of them just say 100% coconut as their only ingredient?

Coconut oil - kind of waxy cold or liquid hot
Creamed coconut, which is like a bar of hard soap at room temp, gets softer when warm, but doesn't dissolve easy
Canned coconut milk - cream on top, watery milk below
Unsweetened Coconut milk in carton - like reg milk
Coconut water drink - watery, sometimes pink, sweet
Coconut manna - not sure, I bought but haven't used yet, and not sure how
Coconut butter, like oil, but creamier I think. I have a small sample pack but never used it.
Coconut flour - I assume meat that's dried and ground
Coconut flakes - shredded meat

Anything else? Why do I think about these things?

Coconut manna I think is like the coconut butter since I see it used a lot in coconut truffle recipes, and you're right about the flour: coconut meat ground. Now this creamed coconut stuff sounds WONDERFUL! I feel like I need it in my life but I'm pretty sure I'd eat it all in one sitting.

I've always been weird about the coconut milk in the tetra cartons. Why doesn't it separate like the stuff in the can does? Is it heated up, or blended...or is it super processed? I dunno....maybe I'm weird but I just think it needs to separate lol

I saw some coconut butter the other day at Sunflower. I thought about buying it but it seems dangerous because, like SweetX, I might consume it all in one sitting. I tried some of the Justin's Cashew Butter, and omg, it was heavenly.

LOL. You might break a tooth. It's super hard. I scrape flakes of it off with a spoon and add to coffee sometimes. It adds a teeny tiny hint of sweetness to the coffee, but globs onto the bottom of the mug. I haven't figured out any other way to eat it or what else to do with it.

I know, that Justin's butter is amazing. Justin's is a Boulder-based company, so we've been inundated with his products for years. When he was small he gave out samples EVERYWHERE. So good. His company has done an amazing job with marketing, and it's a great company to support. Eat up!

Hard? Wow! I would think creamed coconut would be..... Creamy lol! I'm going to look into it more since I love coconut in all forms and I hadn't heard of this version until now

Its called coconut cream concentrate. It is so filling it is impossible to eat more than a couple of Tbs at a time (so no worries about eating the whole jar).
The best thing I have ever made from it is :

Actually, the creamed coconut is different than coconut cream concentrate. I think. It's confusing.
    This is what I bought:

    Maybe it is the same?

Hmm that is different - that is closer to coconut milk I think where the concentrate is the whole coconut minus the milk ground up into a paste that gets hard at room temp.

LOL. Now I do think they are the same thing. This is really hard, like a bar of soap, at room temp. No water content at all. Almost like compressed ground coconut. The box is also about the same size as a bar of soap.
