Ok - there may be one minor cheat in here if you are on the Attack phase - but overall it was good and made me think I was actually eating a plate of real pasta. I was making my family Fettucine Carbonara - and I had an idea that I could do it Dukan Friendly. I am sure that real Italians may scoff at this - but I'll take what I can get at this point.
Sorry - I am not much of a measurer - I just throw stuff together.
Shiritaki Noodles (aka Tofu Shred) - if you haven't discovered these - FIND THEM and make them your friend.
1 egg and 1 some egg whites
fat free half and half (about 1/4 cup)
Turkey Bacon (low sodium and reduced fat)
parmesan cheese (reduced fat)
As the noodles are boiling (by the way - these are super low in carbs and high in protein - also very low cal), I whipped the egg, egg whites and half and half. After the noodles are done, I drain them and put them back in the pot. I then add egg/cream mixture and put the pot back on the hot stove. Mix around the noodles and cream mixture - the eggs should start to look like they are scrambling. When they are cooked through, sprinkly some parmesan and toss in the bacon.
It's yummy - I just had a plateful.
